As I progressed through PSIII, I was able to complete an Inquiry Project that was meant to benefit the school as well as challenge me as a life-long learner.
Below I have the details and results of this project. This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my PSIII practicum.
PIP Symposium
I had the opportunity to present my inquiry project at the University during the PSIII symposium. This was a great opportunity to share my project with colleagues and those who are entering the education program. I was able to share some of my found knowledge with those students and explain what went well, and what to avoid entering into PSIII and 1st year teaching.

C) Using the Program of Studies to guide planning, instruction, and assessment
Having students use the Program of Studies themselves, and helping them interpret and setup modules based on this is evidence that I was able to use the Program of Studies in my planning (although unconventionally). I also graded them based right off of the program of study for each module. O) The importance of career-long learning. They know how to use the findings of assessments, supervision and evaluations
I feel strongly that I was able to use this PIP project to steer my future planning. I really wish I could teach Multimedia again so I could implement it in the way I explained in my conclusion. This PIP project really helped me in assessing my own instruction and planning and how I could refine it in the future to better help students succeed. P) the importance of guiding their actions with a personal, overall vision of the purpose of teaching. They are able to communicate their vision, including how it has changed as a result of new knowledge, understanding and experience This inquiry project has made me love teaching more and more. I truly believe that I could use this in the future if I refined it a little. The experience that PSIII has given me has made me confident as I enter into teaching as a career, and I would love the chance to teach Multimedia again, so I could use my newfound knowledge, understanding, and experiences. |
