My name is David Zimmer, and I am an in the process of pursuing a teaching career. I have lived nearly all my life in Cranbrook, BC, but have recently moved to Lethbridge, Alberta to pursue a career in Education. I am currently in my PSIII at the University of Lethbridge, and am graduating after this practicum with a degree in Education and Management. I have had the opportunity to teach an array of classes through my time at the University of Lethbridge. In PSI I taught Grade 1, and in PSII, Grades 8 and 9. Finally, in PSIII, I had the chance to teach Grades 9-12. I previously was taking accounting at the local college in my hometown, and although I received a diploma in that regard, I decided that was not the route I wanted to take. It was not the career path I felt would bring me much joy. So I have decided to enter into education because I have a love for children and a passion to help others learn. I am very excited for my choice of career and what the future has in store!
Here is a picture of me taking photographs at one of the volleyball games at LCI.
Here I am teaching multimedia. I am giving one of my students an indepth explanation of an overhead shot.
I am in front of the class and one of my students just made me laugh with a lame joke.
Here is a family picture. It is me on the right with my mom and two brothers beside me.
Some of my personal interests are reading, piano, and video games. I love to play all different kinds of sports; soccer, basketball, floor hockey, badminton, and volleyball are some of my favorites. I love the outdoors as well, as I love to hike in the summer and ski in the winter.
